Lime-iro Senkitan (らいむいろ戦奇譚) is a Japanese visual novel developed and published by ELF Corporation. Satoru Akahori was selected to produce the novel and animated adaptations (OVA and anime).
The game later produced a spin-off named Lime-iro Jankitan and a sequel named Lime-iro Ryuukitan X.
Plot[]
The story takes place in a fictional timeline from the year 1904 (37th year of the Meiji Era) during the Russo-Japanese War in which former Japanese diplomat, Shintaro Umakai, becomes the teacher of a secret group of teenage girls, the Lime Unit, who are based on the flying battleship Amanohara. The girl's Konjiki (supernatural powers) enables them to operate unmanned mecha named Raimus against Russian Raimu units led by Grigori Rasputin who often attack the Amanohara while it is travelling towards Port Arthur for the final battle.
